$2M settlement for injured worker

Plaintiff was on the defendant’s premises to repair the business telephone. The defendant directed the worker out the exterior staircase that was dilapidated, dangerous and covered in garbage. Due to the defective condition of the stairs, the plaintiff fell down the stairs injuring his shoulder and back. The plaintiff underwent arthroscopic surgery to his shoulder as well as a cervical and lumbar fusion.
