Our founder, Ms. Victoria Wickman, a Brooklyn native, followed her parents’ example of hard work and dedication. By 24, she earned her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2001. While studying full-time, she gained experience working part-time for a sole practitioner, handling personal injury matters, including medical malpractice. Upon graduation, she joined top personal injury trial attorneys, focusing on medical malpractice.
After gaining extensive knowledge and experience, Victoria Wickman decided to start her own practice on January 1, 2009. She added attorney Michael Fusco to her firm. Together, they run a small, efficient firm known for tenacity and firmness in court, earning respect and appreciation from both clients and adversaries.
Attorney Alyssa Spinelli joined the firm in the fall of 2025. With a strong focus on client advocacy, Alyssa represents individuals who have experienced injury or wrongdoing. She approaches every case with care, determination, and a firm commitment to protecting her clients’ rights.

Ms. Victoria Wickman is a past President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, has been appointed the Co-Vice Chairperson of the Medical Malpractice Committee of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and has been honored to lecture her fellow colleagues on the topic of medical malpractice and trial technique. She was also honored with the Pen Award given by the New York State Trial Lawyers Association in recognition of her work and dedication to change the law in the state of New York as it relates to the time cancer patients have to bring an action against a doctor or hospital who had misdiagnosed their cancer.
She is a member of the following organizations: New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Nathan Sobel King County Inns of Court, Columbian Lawyers of Kings County, North American Brain Injury Society, New York State Bar Association, Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association, and admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Virginia.
