$20M verdict – above the knee amputation

A jury found a vascular surgeon and interventional radiologist negligent in their performance of an endovascular revascularization of an occluded external iliac and superficial femoral artery. The plaintiff suffered an above the knee amputation and returned to work three months later as a porter in Manhattan.
